Leadership Conference Sponsor Application

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) supports the logistical planning and partial funding for transportation, conference registration fees, and lodging for select students (regardless of your ethnic/cultural background) who would like to attend a multicultural leadership conference.

Conference attendees will be responsible for raising additional funds to cover the remaining costs of the conference. Depending on the conference, fees can range from $100 - $600 per student. Some sources of funding that students can pursue include, but are not limited to the Office of International Education, Jewel Glenn Fund, Bonner Center for Civic Engagement, and either Richmond or Westhampton College.

Office staff will send an email to the student(s) selected to attend the conference. OMA may request that the selected students submit a refundable deposit to confirm their commitment to attend the conference. All participants are required to submit a blog regarding their experience upon their return from the conference.
